Will be forever remembered by her children Bryanne (Martin), Peter, Joree, Scott, Rebecca, Evan. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Brendan, Garrett, Rogan, Keelan.

Born in Port Arthur, Ont. (Thunder Bay) she moved to Parry Sound as a child. She was a long time English teacher in both elementary and secondary schools for the West Parry Sound District School Board. Education was important to her, and while raising 6 children and teaching full time, she pulled all-nighters to receive a Master’s Degree in Sociology. She was always happy to meet and talk with former students.
Mom loved solving crossword puzzles and even tried her hand at video games. She loved to read and watch her beloved Jeopardy nightly. She has gone, but we will always remain thankful that she was ours.
As was her wish, cremation arrangements are entrusted to Torrance Funeral Home and Chapel (89 Bowes St. Parry Sound) with a private family service at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation, Parry Sound Public Library (Donate a book in her memory) or our local food bank would be appreciated.
