Passed away suddenly on Thursday June 18, 2020 at the age of 32. Tory Ostertag, beloved father of Lily Ostertag. Son of Rick and Margaret Ostertag. Nephew, cousin, and amazing friend. Sometimes when we go through hardships it’s very hard to conjure up the words to say, but Tory could always be trusted to alleviate those hardships. He had an amazing personality and awesome smile and laugh that will never be forgotten. When we look at his beautiful daughter Lily that smile is forever encapsulated in her. Tory loved Lily unconditionally, she was always the most important person to him. Lily you will be forever loved. Your daddy was the best. He brought out the sunshine in all of us. Thank you, Rick and Margaret, for raising such a wonderful human being who always brought out the best in everybody. Tory, Mom and Dad miss you so much. Tory is remembered by nothing but positive memories in everyone he cared for, which was everybody. Thank you, Sarah, for being a mother who wants the same values instilled in Lily that Tory would have wanted. He truly appreciated that fact. Chad, Jacques, Jimmy, and Roman, know that your friend left an amazing impact on all of us. Go be that amazing friend that Tory always was, and now it is your job to take those hardships away for others. The way Tory would have wanted. Tory you are now the sunshine on a cloudy day, you are that happy feeling when we get the nibble on the end of our fishing line, but most of all, you are the love that we give to others in honour of you, who was always there for everyone in times of need. We are all hurting and grieve differently, but Tory wouldn’t want you to hurt for very long. As the old cliché goes, turn that frown upside down. Tory would have you laughing immediately, Be that infectious laugh for Tory now. Your legacy will never be forgotten, and Lily will always be cared for. God takes all his angels first, please remember that. We all love you Tory, it’s just goodbye for now, gone but never forgotten. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday July 11, 2020 from 10 AM – 2PM.
