We lost our wonderful Patriarch, Jim Cole Sr., on Wednesday November 28, 2018 at Lakeland Long Term Care, Parry Sound, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Catherine (Cay) nee Herron for more than 70 years. Respected father of sons Jim Jr. (Gloria), Richard (Margaret), Terrence (Susan), Ronald (Renée), and the late Mark. Loving grandfather of Rick Jr. (Kristine), Tracey (Lars), Amanda (David), Leanne (Jamie), Adam (Susan), Brian (Nikki), Ryan (Kyra), Andrew (Megan), Pamela (Greg), Jordan (Jenna), James (Kate) and Nicholas (Bailey). Great Grandfather of Eleanor, Parker, Isaac, Eli, Henry, Clare, Brontë, Elliotte Grace and Beckitt. Predeceased by his brothers Edmond, Victor, Sydney, William, Robert and sisters Viola, Eileen, and Barbara. Jim is fondly remembered by his brothers Stan (Sandy), Ray (Anne Marie) and Harry (Marilyn), and his sister Sharon (George) Fenton, along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Orrville, on Friday December 14th at 11:30 AM, followed by a Reception at the Orrville Community Centre on Hwy 518. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the St. Thomas Anglican Church in Orrville would be appreciated by the family.

Ellen Ragnhild Cormier (née Sørensen) June 7, 1933 ~ December 11, 2018
Ellen passed away peacefully surrounded by Eric, her loving husband of 61 years, her daughter Kim (Jim), and her grandchildren, Ben (Abbey), Cameron (Hayley), and Jacob. Ellen was born in Viborg, Denmark and became a Canadian citizen in 1981. She will be sadly missed by both her Canadian and Danish relatives and her many friends.

Sister to the late Emil Dumanski and sister in law and good friend to Tilly. She was beloved by all who knew her and will be missed by her many friends. Cremation has taken place. Peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Tuesday November 20, 2018 at the age of 79. Loving son of the late Hector and Alice Lamore. Wholeheartedly missed by his girlfriend of 6 years Theresa. Survived by his siblings Edith Crete, Helen Rilling, Dorothy Parnis . Predeceased by brothers and sisters, John (Clara), George, Rita Lamondin, Edna Garon and Leo. Proud father of Pauline, Bryan (Rita), and Sherry (Todd). Cherished Grampa to Ricky, Rodney, Andrew, Desiree, Marylynn, B.J., Jessica (“Smitty”) and Tracy (David). Great grandfather to Ryan, Josh, Addison, Aiden, Justin, Brittney, Kaitlyn, Chelsea, Kaden, Jazzmen, Cooper and Bryce. He will be especially missed by Jessica and Tracy whom he adored. Lornie was born and raised in Byng Inlet and had a deep love for his home and his beloved Georgian Bay. He was dedicated to his career with the MTO for many years. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews friends and extended family. Friends and Family will be received at the Torrance Funeral Home on Thursday November 22, 2018 from 7 – 9 PM. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Friday November 23, 2018 at 11 AM at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church. Spring interment Sylvan Acres Cemetery. Wendy Theresa Dadswell, 63, of Ardbeg, Ontario passed away peacefully at home on November 17, 2018, after a short battle with cancer, her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Glen Dadswell, and cherished mother of Chris (Elaine) Dadswell and Rick (Sheniese) Dadswell. Fondly known as ‘The Best Grandma in the World’ to Brianna and Richard. Beloved sister of Gwen (Allen) Lemay, Judy (Bud) Wilken, Gordon (Kim) Murdoch, Mike Hill, Louise (Patrick) McFadden, and Jackie (Dave) Vandenbraak. Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Marie Hill and Glen Murdoch, step-father Thomas Hill, and sisters Rosemary Jones and Cindy Evans.
Wendy was born January 26, 1955, in Palmerston, Ontario, and grew up around Formosa, Ontario. She attended Conestoga College in Waterloo. Wendy met Glen, the love of her life, in 1977 and they were married on December 23, 1980. They settled in Port Elgin, Ontario and had two sons. In 2005, Wendy and Glen built their dream retirement home on Lake DeBois, located just north-east of Parry Sound.
Wendy is fondly remembered for her sincere, exuberant personality and her witty expressions. Home was Wendy’s favourite place to be and she was the heart of our family’s home holding us together with her support, encouragement and honest realistic perspectives. Her boys, Glen Chris and Rick were and the centre of her universe and everything she did revolved around them. Mom was always involved in Glens activities, She was his number one fan, just as she was for her sons. She welcomed her daughter in laws Elaine and Sheniese into her home and heart and treated them as her own without hesitation.
Wendy loved to spend time in the company of others and always welcomed others to join her around the kitchen table for a cup of tea, card game, or to catch up on the latest news. The kitchen in Wendy’s house was truly the heart of her home. All who found themselves around the table were treated like family and it wouldn’t be long before stories were being swapped and laughter filled the air.
Wendy was a remarkable cook, spending much of her career managing kitchens at local dining establishments. She was well-known for her speed and efficiency in the kitchen and enjoyed sharing her recipes and techniques with her anyone who joined her in the kitchen. Wendy’s favourite meals were those she prepared for family and friends and she was always quick to welcome last-minute dinner guests.

Mary passed peacefully in her own home after a long battle with heart disease, her daughter and her niece were by her side. She was the much loved wife of 50 years of the late Jim Burns. Beloved Mom to the late Cathy (Curtis) Outram, Jim (Tish) Burns, Tom (Michele) Burns, and Bonnie (John) Fincham. Treasured Nanny to 18 grandchildren and Great Nan to 8 great grandchildren. Dear sister to both Jim Patchett and Robert Patchett and the late Betty Burns and sister-in-law to Gerry Magee and Gale Carruthers. “Auntie” will be greatly missed by Valerie Burns (Bruce Dayboll) and many other nieces and nephews.
