Peacefully on Monday March 10, 2008 with his family by his side, at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Erma (nee Adams). Loving father of Ivan (Carol), Ina (Carmen), Sandra (Jon), Anita (Brian), Bonnie (Bill), Tammy (Dave), and Linda (Martin). Cherished by his 17 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers Lofty and Gord, and his sisters Vera, Honery, Myrtle, and Jean. Predeceased by brothers Clarence, Howard, Charles, and sister Eileen. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will take place on Thursday March 13, 2008 at 11 AM at the Torrance Funeral Home (89 Bowes St., Parry Sound, P2A 2L8, 746-4664) with visiting from 10-11 AM. Peacefully at Belvedere Heights Home for the Aged on Tuesday February 26, 2008 in her 97th year. Dear daughter of the late George and Elizabeth McHardy. Beloved wife of the late Philip Smith. Loving mother of John and his wife Nancy, Carol and her husband Jim White, and Elizabeth Vinassac. Cherished by her grandchildren, Rob, Ian, and Vance White, Jacyn Wade, and Samantha Smith. Fondly remembered by her nine great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother Don and his wife Vera McHardy, and sister Dorothy and the late Vin Whitehead. Predeceased by her brothers Jack and Irving. Phyllis Federico December 4, 1935 ~ February 24, 2008

Peacefully after a brief illness on Sunday February 24, 2008 at the West Parry Sound Health Centre in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of Bert. Loving mother of Cathy and her husband David Ley, Michell-Anne Federico, Laurie and her husband Bill Stringer, Jamie and his wife Tammy Federico. Cherished by her grandchildren Kristan, Nicole, Robert, Kyle, Monica, Andrew, Kathleen. Survived by her brothers Alvin Barager and Dan Barager. Cremation has taken place. Maryna Pastoor December 1, 1933 ~ February 18, 2008

On Monday February 18, 2008 after a long battle with cancer, Maryna Jacoba Pastoor (nee Heynen) at the age of 74 years was welcomed home by her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Maryna will be dearly missed by her husband and friend Bill (Willem Arie) of 48 years; and her children Annette, Timothy and his wife Kathy. Cherished by her grandsons Joshua, Jacob and Jordan.

Maryna was predeceased by her sisters Miny, Nelly, and brother Jack (Koos). Friends will be received at the Torrance Funeral Home (89 Bowes St., Parry Sound) on Thursday February 21, 2008 from 2 – 4, and 7 – 9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church on Friday February 22, 2007 at 11 AM. Spring interment Sylvan Acres Cemetery. Loving Nanny of Kyle, Katherine, Sarah, Rachael, Elizabeth, MacKenzie, and Aleesha. Predeceased by her 7 brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by family and friends.
